Desire to follow Jesus Christ?
To follow Jesus Christ, start with believing in your heart/mind and confessing with your mouth that
-Jesus Christ is God (Son of God)
-Jesus Christ is Savior (God who saved me from my sins)
After believing, pray to God “Dear God, I acknowledge I have sinned before you in thought, word and deed. Please forgive me for my sins. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins, and raising up to life from the dead to give me eternal life. Jesus, you are my God and Savior. Help me to follow you and obey your teachings. In Jesus name I pray, Amen”.
Being now reconciled with God, you have received eternal/everlasting life with God that will continue even after you die.
To continue your life-long journey of becoming a fully devoted follower/disciple of Jesus Christ, study the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible as well as study about God throughout the entire Bible. Also, praise, worship, and pray to the Holy Trinity – God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.
